The Fumaiolo Sentieri association, non-profit and inspired by the principles of social promotion associations, aims to promote activities in close contact with nature, of a naturalistic and / or sporting nature, promoting the growth of tourism and spreading the culture of nature and the mountains.Fumaiolo Sentieri organizes hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding activities throughout the year, and in the winter even outings with snowshoes, with the aim of making known the natural, historical and landscape beauties of the area.Since its establishment in 2012, Fumaiolo Sentieri has been responsible for the maintenance and signposting of the Monte Fumaiolo and Monte Comero trail network within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Verghereto (over 190 km).For this purpose, specific Path Days are periodically carried out dedicated to cleaning the paths, horizontal (red-white) and vertical (positioning of poles and tables) signs and the signs adopted comply with the CAI standards defined at national level.Fumaiolo Sentieri, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of the territory, the Municipality of Verghereto and the CAI of Cesena, has been involved in an important project for the arrangement of the path network of Monte Fumaiolo and Monte Comero, which has led to years to a substantial strengthening of vertical and horizontal signs and to the creation of some new routes.Among the many activities carried out by the association are the creation of the hiking guide "On the paths of Monte Fumaiolo" and some promotional videos of the area, including the documentary "Air of hospitality", the continuous tourism promotion initiatives of the Fumaiolo and collaboration with schools in awareness-raising projects on knowledge and respect for ones own territory.
